With all areas of the sup­ply chain increas­ing­ly impact­ing an organization’s com­pet­i­tive­ness, today’s mar­ket demands skilled prac­ti­tion­ers to sup­port the man­age­ment of com­plex sup­ply chains. The Sup­ply Man­age­ment Train­ing meets the pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment needs of prac­ti­tion­ers with a series of tac­ti­cal cours­es designed to pro­vide a sol­id skills base.

Offered in coop­er­a­tion with the Sup­ply Chain Cana­da, this pro­gram will equip prac­ti­tion­ers with the nec­es­sary skills to sup­port the sup­ply chain func­tion and the relat­ed busi­ness skills to help advance their careers.

The Sup­ply Man­age­ment Train­ing pro­gram will be of inter­est to ear­ly to mid-career prac­ti­tion­ers, as well as to indi­vid­u­als who work out­side of the sup­ply man­age­ment field but have pro­cure­ment, logis­tics, trans­porta­tion, or oper­a­tions responsibilities.

Those with supervisory/​management respon­si­bil­i­ty seek­ing knowl­edge of their direct reports’ sup­ply man­age­ment func­tion­al areas would also ben­e­fit from these courses.

Learn­ers in the Sup­ply Man­age­ment Train­ing pro­gram come from posi­tions such as junior buy­ers, pur­chas­ing assis­tants, pro­duc­tion plan­ners, ware­house clerks, mate­r­i­al han­dlers, logis­tics admin­is­tra­tors, and inven­to­ry co-ordi­na­tors, as well as asso­ciates, ana­lysts, and specialists.

This part-time program is comprised of 10 courses. Typical course load is one to three courses per term. When following this structure, students can complete the program within one to two years.

Courses do not have to be taken in any specific order, allowing students to choose the courses that best fit their schedule in any given term. Evening, weekend, and weekday learning opportunities are available to accommodate a variety of schedules.

Complete all 10 courses to be eligible to receive your Diploma in Supply Management granted by Supply Chain Canada (SCC). Once you complete all courses, apply directly to SCC for the diploma.

  • Tuition is paid on a course-by-course basis as you reg­is­ter for your classes.
  • Cours­es are GST-exempt.
  • Some cours­es require a text­book at an addi­tion­al cost.
  • Eli­gi­ble for the Cana­da-Alber­ta Job Grant.
